Master of Nursing
Master of Nursing qualification is specially designed for graduates of any Bachelor of Nursing degree to expand their knowledge and skills in a range of health care setting. During the course of study, students are encouraged to incorporate evidence-based theory and clinical practise in different areas including physical, biological, psychological and social sciences.
Course Duration
It takes two years of full-time or four years of part-time study to complete Master of Nursing. Major areas of study include Professional Nursing, Emergency Care, Palliative Care, Mental Health, Chronic Care Nursing Practise and Clinical Education.
Course Structure
The first year cover the social context of nursing in general and Australian health system while the second year covers the comprehensive nursing practise across different care contexts or facilities
Applicants are also required to fulfil additional requirements to get eligible for clinical practice. This includes:

- National Police check
- Working with children Check
Entry Requirements
To get eligible for enrolment of Master of Nursing, international students are required to:
- Prove Language proficiency by achieving an overall score of 7(with no individual band score less than 7) in IELTS Academic
- Hold a recognised bachelor degree or graduate degree with a course weighted average mark of at least 60%
- Complete a research unit and a human biology-related unit at tertiary level
- Get immunised against contracting infectious illness
